چکیده
were studied in a quasi-static reaction cell in the temperature range 293 ≤ T/K ≤ 501 at a pressure of 10 mbar and 20 mbar, respectively, with He as the main carrier gas. The electronically excited reactant NH(a) was generated by laser-flash photolysis of HN3, at λ= 308 nm and detected by laser-induced fluorescence (LIF). Also the ground state species NH(X) was detected by LIF. From the measured concentration-time profiles of NH(a) under pseudo-first order conditions, the rate coefficients k1(T ) and k2(T ) were obtained. For the rate coefficient k1 a positive temperature dependence was observed:

متن کاملObservation of ultrafast NH3 (Ã) state relaxation dynamics using a combination of time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy and photoproduct detection.
The ultrafast excited state relaxation of ammonia is investigated by resonantly exciting specific vibrational modes of the electronically excited NH(3) (Ã) state using three complementary femtosecond (fs) pump-probe techniques: time-resolved photoelectron, ion-yield and photofragment translational spectroscopy. Ammonia can be seen as a prototypical system for studying non-adiabatic dynamics and...

The kinetics of the reactions between triphenylphosphine 1 and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates 2, in the presence of a NH-acid such as 5-nitroindazole 3,were studied. Corresponding kinetic parameters to all reactions were evaluated, with the second order rate constant (k) values calculated. Effects of solvent, temperature, and reactant...
متن کاملComputational Study of the Mechanism, Reaction Rate and Thermochemistry of Atmospheric Oxidation of Methylamine with Singlet Oxygen
The reaction of CH₃NH₂ with O₂ on the singlet potential energy surfaces (PES) was carried out using the B3LYP, CCSD(T) and G3B3 theoretical approaches along with 6-311++G(3df,3pd) basis set. The suggested mechanism for the title reaction consists of one pre-reactive complex. From the pre-reactive complex, nine types of products, CH2NH+H2O2, CH3NH+OOH,...
متن کاملOn growth of homology torsion in amenable groups
Suppose an amenable group G is acting freely on a simply connected simplicial complex X̃ with compact quotient X. Fix n ≥ 1, assume Hn(X̃,Z) = 0 and let (Hi) be a Farber chain in G. We prove that the torsion of the integral homology in dimension n of X̃/Hi grows subexponentially in [G : Hi]. This fails if X is not compact. We provide the first examples of amenable groups for which torsion in homol...
